A way to remove Overwolf using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Overwolf is an application marketed by the software company Overwolf Ltd.. Sometimes, users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY approach to uninstall Overwolf is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Overwolf or simply activate the Search field and type in "Overwolf". The Overwolf program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Overwolf in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Overwolf, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Overwolf:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf\\OWUninstaller.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Overwolf.


8. After uninstalling Overwolf, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Overwolf that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
