A way to remove Overwolf from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Overwolf is a program released by Overwolf Ltd.. Some users want to remove this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove Overwolf is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Overwolf or simply activate the Search field and type in "Overwolf". The Overwolf application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Overwolf in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Overwolf, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Overwolf:

• The publisher is: https://www.overwolf.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf\\OWUninstaller.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Overwolf.


8. After removing Overwolf, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Overwolf that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
