Origin has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Origin:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\Origin

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

How to delete Origin using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Origin is an application offered by Electronic Arts, Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE way to remove Origin is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Origin or simply click the Search field and type in "Origin". If it exists on your system the Origin app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Origin in the list , the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Origin, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Origin:

• The publisher is: http://www.ea.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\OriginUninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Origin.


8. After removing Origin, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Origin that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Origin with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
