A way to delete OpenVX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OpenVX is a program marketed by Intel Corporation. Some computer users try to erase this program. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK manner to erase OpenVX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.


  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find OpenVX or simply click the Search feature and type in "OpenVX". The OpenVX application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click OpenVX in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:

  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding OpenVX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove OpenVX.

8. After removing OpenVX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong OpenVX that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling OpenVX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
