A guide to uninstall OpenRA from your PC

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for administrator rights. OpenRA's main file takes about 91.50 KB (93696 bytes) and is called Dune2000.exe.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

A way to uninstall OpenRA from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OpenRA is a program by the software company OpenRA developers. Some users decide to erase this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because performing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find OpenRA or simply activate the Search field and type in "OpenRA". The OpenRA application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click OpenRA in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding OpenRA, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for OpenRA:

• The web site of the program is: http://openra.net
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\OpenRA\uninstaller.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall OpenRA.


8. After uninstalling OpenRA, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of OpenRA that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing OpenRA using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
