How to erase OpenCPN from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OpenCPN is a program offered by opencpn.org. Some users choose to erase this program. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY way to erase OpenCPN is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate OpenCPN or simply activate the Search feature and type in "OpenCPN". If it exists on your system the OpenCPN app will be found automatically. When you click OpenCPN in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding OpenCPN, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall OpenCPN.


8. After uninstalling OpenCPN, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong OpenCPN which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing OpenCPN using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
