If you are manually uninstalling OBS Multiplatform we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall OBS Multiplatform:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OBS Multiplatform

The files below remain on your disk by OBS Multiplatform's application uninstaller when you removed it:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OBS Multiplatform\OBS Multiplatform (32bit).lnk
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OBS Multiplatform\OBS Multiplatform (64bit).lnk
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OBS Multiplatform\Uninstall.lnk

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\OBS Multiplatform
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OBS Multiplatform

Registry values that are not removed from your computer:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\32bit\obs32.exe.FriendlyAppName
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe.FriendlyAppName


A way to delete OBS Multiplatform with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Multiplatform is an application by the software company OBS Project. Sometimes, people want to uninstall this program.
