A way to uninstall Nessus from your PC

Nessus is a computer program. How to erase Nessus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Nessus is a program by the software company Tenable Network Security, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users decide to uninstall this application. This can be easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall Nessus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Nessus or simply click the Search feature and type in "Nessus". If it exists on your system the Nessus application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Nessus in the list of applications, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Nessus, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Nessus:

• The publisher is: http://www.tenablesecurity.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{89585A69-B825-472F-A6EC-6BD0A96EDAC8}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Nessus.


8. After uninstalling Nessus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Nessus that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Nessus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
