A way to uninstall NSD-U from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO
NSD-U is an application offered by EMC. Sometimes, people want to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find NSD-U or simply activate the Search field and type in "NSD-U". The NSD-U app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click NSD-U in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding NSD-U, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for NSD-U:
- The publisher is: www.emc.com
- The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\GSTools\NSD-U\Uninstall_NSD-U\Uninstall NSD-U.exe"
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall NSD-U.

8. After uninstalling NSD-U, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of NSD-U that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing NSD-U with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
