How to uninstall MyPaint using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MyPaint is a program marketed by Martin Renold and the MyPaint Development Team. Sometimes, users decide to remove this program. This is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY way to remove MyPaint is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your PC.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find MyPaint or simply activate the Search feature and type in "MyPaint". If it is installed on your PC the MyPaint app will be found very quickly. When you select MyPaint in the list , the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about MyPaint, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for MyPaint:

• The publisher is: http://mypaint.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\mypaint-w64\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall MyPaint.


8. After removing MyPaint, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong MyPaint that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing MyPaint with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
