A guide to uninstall ModPlus from your PC

ModPlus has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders left behind when you uninstall ModPlus:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\ModPlus
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus

The files below were left behind on your disk by ModPlus's application uninstaller when you removed it:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\Languages\de-DE.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\Languages\en-US.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\Languages\es-ES.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\Languages\ru-RU.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\Languages\uk-UA.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\Languages\zh-CN.xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\ModPlus.Newtonsoft.Json.dll
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\mpAutoUpdater.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R24.0\CoreUser\5E777583E67F7839\Applications\ModPlus
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ModPlus
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ModPlus

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\bam\State\UserSettings\S-1-5-21-83450664-2453372141-1466795900-1001\\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\ModPlus\mpAutoUpdater.exe


A way to delete ModPlus from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ModPlus is an application offered by the software company IP Pekshev A.A.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this application. 3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ModPlus or simply activate the Search field and type in "ModPlus". If it is installed on your PC the ModPlus application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click ModPlus in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about ModPlus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall ModPlus.

8. After removing ModPlus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of ModPlus which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing ModPlus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
