A guide to uninstall MetaMask from your system

MetaMask is a computer program. A way to delete MetaMask from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MetaMask is a program offered by MetaMask. Some computer users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall MetaMask is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate MetaMask or simply click the Search field and type in "MetaMask". If it is installed on your PC the MetaMask application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select MetaMask in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding MetaMask, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall MetaMask.


8. After removing MetaMask, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of MetaMask that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling MetaMask using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
