How to uninstall MeediOS from your computer

MeediOS is a Windows application. If you are manually uninstalling MeediOS we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall MeediOS:

• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MeediOS
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MeediOS
• C:\Users\%user%\Downloads\New folder (6)\MeediOS

Files remaining:

• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MeediOS\Advanced\Troubleshooting\Find system errors.lnk
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MeediOS\Advanced\Troubleshooting\MeediOS (debug mode).lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to uninstall MeediOS from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MeediOS is a program released by the software company MeediOS Project. Some users try to remove it. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY manner to remove MeediOS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate MeediOS or simply click the Search feature and type in "MeediOS". If it is installed on your PC the MeediOS program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click MeediOS in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about MeediOS, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for MeediOS:

• The publisher is: http://www.meedios.com/
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program UserName (x86)\MeediOS\UninsHs.exe" /u0={C6981130-83A6-4973-BF17-AD47AF22CEA3}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove MeediOS.


8. After removing MeediOS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong MeediOS which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling MeediOS with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
