How to uninstall McAfee® Total Protection from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® Total Protection is an application released by the software company McAfee, LLC. Some people try to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY way to erase McAfee® Total Protection is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find McAfee® Total Protection or simply click the Search field and type in "McAfee® Total Protection". If it exists on your system the McAfee® Total Protection app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click McAfee® Total Protection in the list , the following information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about McAfee® Total Protection, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove McAfee® Total Protection.


8. After uninstalling McAfee® Total Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of McAfee® Total Protection that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing McAfee® Total Protection with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
