How to uninstall MapMan from your computer

A way to uninstall MapMan from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MapMan is a program offered by the software company Max Planck Institute for Molecular Plant Physiology. Sometimes, users decide to erase this program. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find MapMan or simply click the Search feature and type in "MapMan". If it is installed on your PC the MapMan program will be found very quickly. When you select MapMan in the list , some data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding MapMan, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for MapMan:

• The publisher is: http://mapman.gabipd.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\MapMan\UninstallerData\Uninstall MapMan.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall MapMan.


8. After removing MapMan, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong MapMan that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing MapMan using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
