How to delete MacType from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MacType is a program offered by FlyingSnow, Samantha Glocker. Some people choose to uninstall it. This is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK approach to uninstall MacType is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your computer.

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find MacType or simply click the Search feature and type in "MacType". The MacType app will be found automatically. When you select MacType in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding MacType, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for MacType:

• The publisher is: http://mactype.net/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\MacType\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall MacType.


8. After uninstalling MacType, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of MacType which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
