How to remove Lantern from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is a program by Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Some computer users choose to remove this program. This is easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY way to remove Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Lantern or simply activate the Search field and type in "Lantern". If it exists on your system the Lantern application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Lantern in the list , some data about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Lantern:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Lantern which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
