A way to delete Lantern from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application marketed by Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Sometimes, users want to erase it. This is troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. The best EASY approach to erase Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Lantern or simply activate the Search field and type in "Lantern". If it is installed on your PC the Lantern program will be found very quickly. After you select Lantern in the list of programs, the following data about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Lantern.

All the items that belong Lantern that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
