How to uninstall Lantern from your computer

Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for admin rights. lantern.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 13.10 MB (13741344 bytes) on disk.

Several files, folders and registry entries will not be uninstalled when you remove Lantern from your computer.

A way to erase Lantern from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application released by the software company Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Some computer users decide to erase this program. 3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Lantern or simply activate the Search field and type in "Lantern". The Lantern app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Lantern in the list , some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Lantern:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Lantern that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Lantern with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
