How to delete Lantern from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application marketed by Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Sometimes, users try to uninstall it. This is difficult because doing this manually requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY action to uninstall Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Lantern or simply click the Search field and type in "Lantern". If it is installed on your PC the Lantern program will be found very quickly. When you select Lantern in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Lantern:

• The publisher is: http://www.getlantern.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Lantern.


8. After uninstalling Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Lantern which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Lantern with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
