A guide to uninstall Lantern from your PC

If you're planning to uninstall Lantern you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

A way to erase Lantern from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application offered by Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall it. This can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Lantern or simply click the Search feature and type in "Lantern". If it exists on your system the Lantern app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Lantern in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Lantern:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.getlantern.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Lantern that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Lantern using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
