How to uninstall Kodi from your computer

You can find on this page details on how to remove Kodi for Windows. It was coded for Windows by XBMC Foundation. Check out here where you can find out more on XBMC Foundation. More details about Kodi can be seen at http://kodi.tv. The program is usually found in the C:\Program Files\Kodi folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing Kodi is C:\Program Files\Kodi\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file is titled kodi.exe and occupies 42.11 MB (44153856 bytes).

A way to remove Kodi using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Kodi is an application by XBMC Foundation. Sometimes, computer users decide to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY procedure to erase Kodi is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Kodi or simply click the Search feature and type in "Kodi". If it exists on your system the Kodi program will be found automatically. When you click Kodi in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Kodi, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Kodi:

• The publisher is: http://kodi.tv
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Kodi\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Kodi.


8. After uninstalling Kodi, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Kodi that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Kodi with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
