If you are manually uninstalling KDE Connect we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

The files below were left behind on your disk by KDE Connect when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\Open on remote device via KDE Connect.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\Send to remote device via KDE Connect.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\KDE e.V.\KDE Connect
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\KDE Connect

A way to uninstall KDE Connect from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

KDE Connect is a program released by KDE e.V.. Sometimes, people try to uninstall this application. This can be difficult because removing this manually takes some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall KDE Connect is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate KDE Connect or simply activate the Search feature and type in "KDE Connect". If it exists on your system the KDE Connect app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select KDE Connect in the list of apps, some data about the application is made available to you:

8. After removing KDE Connect, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong KDE Connect that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
