JetBrains Toolbox has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\JetBrains Toolbox

The files below remain on your disk by JetBrains Toolbox when you uninstall it:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JetBrains\Toolbox
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Toolbox

A way to delete JetBrains Toolbox with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

JetBrains Toolbox is a program by JetBrains. Some computer users try to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK way to uninstall JetBrains Toolbox is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate JetBrains Toolbox or simply click the Search field and type in "JetBrains Toolbox". If it is installed on your PC the JetBrains Toolbox program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select JetBrains Toolbox in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding JetBrains Toolbox, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for JetBrains Toolbox:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\JetBrains\Toolbox\bin\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove JetBrains Toolbox.


8. After uninstalling JetBrains Toolbox, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong JetBrains Toolbox that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling JetBrains Toolbox using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
