A way to uninstall Jalview with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Jalview is a program released by The Barton Group. Some users try to remove this program. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE approach to remove Jalview is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Jalview or simply activate the Search field and type in "Jalview". If it exists on your system the Jalview app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Jalview in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Jalview, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Jalview:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.jalview.org
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Jalview\Uninstall_Jalview\Uninstall Jalview.exe"

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Jalview.


8. After uninstalling Jalview, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Jalview that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Jalview using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
