How to uninstall IMS with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

IMS is an application marketed by ThyssenKrupp Elevator. Some computer users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY solution to remove IMS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate IMS or simply click the Search feature and type in "IMS". If it is installed on your PC the IMS program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select IMS in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding IMS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for IMS:

• The publisher is: www.ThyssenKruppElevator.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{7F19E0CA-1FA8-4F4A-AB7B-8DAC37FCC36D}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall IMS.


8. After uninstalling IMS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of IMS that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling IMS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
