A way to erase IDS uEye from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

IDS uEye is an application released by IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH. Sometimes, people decide to remove it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because performing this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK solution to remove IDS uEye is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate IDS uEye or simply activate the Search field and type in "IDS uEye". If it is installed on your PC the IDS uEye app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click IDS uEye in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding IDS uEye, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for IDS uEye:

• The publisher is: http://www.ids-imaging.de
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0DEAF472-5D5C-4489-B7C4-F01E139A67B9}\setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove IDS uEye.


8. After uninstalling IDS uEye, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong IDS uEye that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling IDS uEye with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
