A guide to uninstall HSPF from your PC

HSPF is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows release was created by US EPA and RESPEC, Inc.. You can find out more on US EPA and RESPEC, Inc. or check for application updates here. You can see more info about HSPF at http://water.epa.gov/scitech/datait/models/basins/. The application is often placed in the C:\Program Files\BASINS45 directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing HSPF is C:\Program Files\BASINS45\unins001.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for administrator rights. The program's main executable file occupies 71.00 KB (72704 bytes) on disk and is named WinHspfLt.exe.

How to delete HSPF from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

HSPF is an application released by the software company US EPA and RESPEC, Inc.. Some people choose to erase this application. This is troublesome because removing this manually requires some know-how regarding PCs. The best EASY approach to erase HSPF is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find HSPF or simply click the Search feature and type in "HSPF". The HSPF program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select HSPF in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding HSPF, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for HSPF:

• The web site of the application is: http://water.epa.gov/scitech/datait/models/basins/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\BASINS45\unins001.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove HSPF.


8. After uninstalling HSPF, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong HSPF which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
