How to uninstall HP Defender from your PC

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find HP Defender or simply click the Search feature and type in "HP Defender". If it is installed on your PC the HP Defender app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click HP Defender in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about HP Defender, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall HP Defender.
