A way to delete HDCleaner with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

HDCleaner is an application marketed by the software company Kurt Zimmermann. Frequently, people want to remove it. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find HDCleaner or simply click the Search feature and type in "HDCleaner". If it exists on your system the HDCleaner program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click HDCleaner in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding HDCleaner, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall HDCleaner.

8. After uninstalling HDCleaner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of HDCleaner which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing HDCleaner with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
