A way to uninstall GroupWise from your PC

GroupWise is a Windows application. Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you uninstall GroupWise.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Novell\GroupWise

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\GroupWise5
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\0BA3C82360502C6438FB5B714FFFD8F7

Additional registry values that you should remove:

How to delete GroupWise using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GroupWise is an application by Novell. Frequently, people choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is troublesome because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find GroupWise or simply click the Search feature and type in "GroupWise". If it is installed on your PC the GroupWise app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click GroupWise in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding GroupWise, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall GroupWise.


8. After removing GroupWise, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of GroupWise which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GroupWise using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
