Several files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be removed when you are trying to remove Google Earth from your computer.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Google Earth from your computer:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Earth
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Google Earth

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Google Earth:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Earth\alchemy\dx\libIGGfx.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Earth\alchemy\ogl\libIGGfx.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Earth\auth.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google Earth\base.dll

Usually the following registry data will not be removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.eta
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Google Earth.etafile
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Google Earth.kmlfile
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Google Earth.kmzfile

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63E6BE14-A742-4EEA-8AF3-0EC39F10F850}\LocalServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{A2D4475B-C9AA-48E2-A029-1DB829DACF7B}\LocalServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{AFD07A5E-3E20-4D77-825C-2F6D1A50BE5B}\LocalServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Google Earth.etafile\shell\open\command\

How to uninstall Google Earth with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Google Earth or simply click the Search feature and type in "Google Earth". The Google Earth application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Google Earth in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Google Earth, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Google Earth.


8. After uninstalling Google Earth, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Google Earth that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
