A way to uninstall Google Chrome from your PC

Google Chrome is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your PC. The Windows version was created by Google LLC. More information on Google LLC can be found here. Google Chrome is normally installed in the C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application folder, regulated by the user's option. The complete uninstall command line for Google Chrome is C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\88.0.4324.27\Installer\setup.exe. chrome.exe is the Google Chrome's main executable file and it takes about 2.14 MB (2247152 bytes) on disk.

Google Chrome is composed of the following executables which occupy 11.84 MB (12413328 bytes) on disk:

  • chrome.exe (2.14 MB)
  • chrome_proxy.exe (811.48 KB)
  • chrome_pwa_launcher.exe (1.26 MB)
  • elevation_service.exe (1.39 MB)
  • notification_helper.exe (1,007.48 KB)
  • setup.exe (2.64 MB)

How to remove Google Chrome with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Google Chrome is a program marketed by Google LLC. Some computer users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Google Chrome or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Google Chrome". If it is installed on your PC the Google Chrome app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Google Chrome in the list of apps, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Google Chrome, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Google Chrome.

8. After removing Google Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Google Chrome that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
