How to uninstall Google Chrome from your PC

Google Chrome is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It is produced by Google LLC. More information on Google LLC can be found here. Usually the Google Chrome application is placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application folder, depending on the user's option during install. You can uninstall Google Chrome by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\83.0.4103.44\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file occupies 1.72 MB (1798640 bytes) on disk and is called chrome.exe.

The following executables are installed beside Google Chrome. They occupy about 9.81 MB (10291088 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete Google Chrome from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Google Chrome or simply activate the Search field and type in "Google Chrome". If it exists on your system the Google Chrome application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Google Chrome in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Google Chrome, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Google Chrome.
