How to uninstall GitHub Desktop from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GitHub Desktop is an application marketed by GitHub, Inc.. Sometimes, people choose to remove this program. This can be efortful because performing this by hand requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. If it exists on your system the GitHub Desktop app will be found automatically. When you click GitHub Desktop in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about GitHub Desktop, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GitHub Desktop.


8. After uninstalling GitHub Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of GitHub Desktop that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
