A way to delete GenericController from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GenericController is a program by the software company Renishaw PLC. Some users want to erase this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase GenericController is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate GenericController or simply click the Search feature and type in "GenericController". If it is installed on your PC the GenericController app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select GenericController in the list of apps, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about GenericController, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GenericController:

• The publisher is: www.renishaw.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{94737AD5-B530-40FC-AF0E-1BFBF7A986C8}\setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall GenericController.


8. After removing GenericController, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GenericController which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GenericController using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
