A way to uninstall Geany from your computer

Geany is a software application. A way to delete Geany using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Geany is an application released by the software company The Geany developer team. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall Geany is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows system.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Geany or simply click the Search feature and type in "Geany". If it exists on your system the Geany app will be found very quickly. When you select Geany in the list of apps, some data about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Geany, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Geany.

8. After removing Geany, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Geany that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Geany using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
