A way to uninstall Gap from your computer

Gap is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Maxthon. You can read more on Maxthon or check for application updates here. The application is usually found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Gap by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\Maxthon.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. chrome_proxy.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 1.03 MB (1081960 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall Gap from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Gap is an application offered by Maxthon. Some computer users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Gap or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Gap". If it exists on your system the Gap program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Gap in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Gap, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Gap.


8. After uninstalling Gap, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Gap which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
