A way to erase GNU Emacs from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate GNU Emacs or simply activate the Search field and type in "GNU Emacs". If it exists on your system the GNU Emacs app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click GNU Emacs in the list of apps, some data about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about GNU Emacs, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove GNU Emacs.
