Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you remove GMenu.

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\G-Menu\FirstRun\gmenu-first-run

Frequently the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\4ac46a8d-c0d4-56ee-87f3-9abd4ce22e7f

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\G-Menu\G-Menu.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\G-Menu\G-Menu.exe.FriendlyAppName

A way to erase GMenu from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate GMenu or simply click the Search field and type in "GMenu". If it is installed on your PC the GMenu program will be found automatically. After you select GMenu in the list of applications, some information about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about GMenu, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall GMenu.


8. After removing GMenu, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong GMenu that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
