Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Folders left behind when you uninstall GEQ:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\GEQ

The files below are left behind on your disk by GEQ when you uninstall it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\GEQ\ActiveReports.Chart.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\GEQ\ActiveReports.Document.dll

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.geq
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{75347355-C476-4744-B81F-80B543DEC56F}

Additional registry values that you should remove:

A way to remove GEQ from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GEQ is an application offered by the software company Zehentmayer Software GmbH. Sometimes, users try to remove it. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find GEQ or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GEQ". The GEQ application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select GEQ in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GEQ, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GEQ:

• The publisher is: www.geq.at
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{75347355-C476-4744-B81F-80B543DEC56F}\setup.exe" -runfromtemp -l0x0407 -removeonly

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove GEQ.


8. After uninstalling GEQ, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of GEQ which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing GEQ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
