A way to uninstall FreeFileSync from your PC

How to erase FreeFileSync from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FreeFileSync is an application by the software company FreeFileSync.org. Sometimes, computer users decide to uninstall this program. This is easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK practice to uninstall FreeFileSync is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find FreeFileSync or simply activate the Search feature and type in "FreeFileSync". If it exists on your system the FreeFileSync app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select FreeFileSync in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding FreeFileSync, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for FreeFileSync:

• The web site of the application is: https://FreeFileSync.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\FreeFileSync\Uninstall\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove FreeFileSync.


8. After removing FreeFileSync, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of FreeFileSync that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling FreeFileSync using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
