How to uninstall FortiClient from your computer

FortiClient is a computer program. How to uninstall FortiClient using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FortiClient is a program by Fortinet Inc. Some people want to remove it. This is hard because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE procedure to remove FortiClient is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.


  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate FortiClient or simply click the Search feature and type in "FortiClient". If it exists on your system the FortiClient application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select FortiClient in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is available to you:

  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding FortiClient, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall FortiClient.

8. After removing FortiClient, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of FortiClient which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
