How to uninstall Firefox from your computer

Firefox is a software application. This page contains details on how to uninstall it from your computer. It is produced by BCV. Additional info about BCV can be seen here. Firefox is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox directory, subject to the user's choice. You can uninstall Firefox by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /I{FAEA1906-7402-4F4B-BD2A-B84385CABD80}. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. firefox.exe is the Firefox's main executable file and it occupies circa 892.47 KB (913888 bytes) on disk.

Firefox installs the following the executables on your PC, taking about 2.34 MB (2452608 bytes) on disk.

How to remove Firefox from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Firefox is an application marketed by BCV. Some people want to erase it. This can be hard because doing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase Firefox is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Firefox or simply activate the Search field and type in "Firefox". The Firefox application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Firefox in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Firefox, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Firefox.

8. After uninstalling Firefox, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Firefox which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Firefox with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
