How to uninstall Esurfing from your system

Esurfing has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Esurfing:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Chinatelecom C+W
  • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Esurfing

Generally, the following files are left on disk:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Chinatelecom C+W\189DriveSetup.exe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Chinatelecom C+W\accshare.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Chinatelecom C+W\ActivationReporter.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Chinatelecom C+W\ActReport.dll

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\esurfing
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{1B74A61D-2331-46CE-A1F5-CF6A1F199F16}
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{1F70E6DB-E57F-4FFF-AAB0-1FC8A71F1AF5}
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{3617B765-3403-4366-A15D-118916D18DAD}

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{0885DCF2-2AE1-4145-90C3-C04774BF5F4D}\InprocServer32\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{31796B43-4EF0-4701-B360-9E1A91184FBD}\InprocServer32\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{659CC8B5-716F-4831-AAF7-BD67FDC526B9}\LocalServer32\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{741B6D41-3673-411D-9223-DC7DF6A13617}\InProcServer32\


A way to remove Esurfing using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Esurfing is a program released by China Telecom. Frequently, computer users decide to erase this application. 3. Click on the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Esurfing or simply activate the Search field and type in "Esurfing". The Esurfing app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Esurfing in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Esurfing, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
