A guide to uninstall Emby Server from your computer

Emby Server is a Windows application. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. EmbyServer.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 466.47 KB (477664 bytes) on disk.

Emby Server has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

The files below remain on your disk by Emby Server when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Emby-InstallLogs\server-install.log

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Emby Server

A way to delete Emby Server from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Emby Server is an application by Emby Team. Frequently, computer users decide to uninstall this program. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Emby Server or simply click the Search feature and type in "Emby Server". If it is installed on your PC the Emby Server application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Emby Server in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Emby Server, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Emby Server:

• The publisher is: http://emby.media
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\MediaBrowser.Uninstaller.exe server

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Emby Server.


8. After removing Emby Server, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Emby Server that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
