Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you uninstall Echelon.

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Steam\Echelon Wind Warriors.url
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Steam\Echelon.url

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Madia\Echelon

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Echelon or simply click the Search field and type in "Echelon". If it is installed on your PC the Echelon app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Echelon in the list of applications, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Echelon, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Echelon.

All the items that belong Echelon that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
