Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you remove ESET Security.

Folders left behind when you uninstall ESET Security:

The files below are left behind on your disk by ESET Security when you uninstall it:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

A way to uninstall ESET Security from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ESET Security is a program offered by ESET, spol. s r.o.. Some users want to remove this application. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY procedure to remove ESET Security is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate ESET Security or simply activate the Search field and type in "ESET Security". If it exists on your system the ESET Security app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select ESET Security in the list of apps, some data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about ESET Security, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ESET Security.


8. After uninstalling ESET Security, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong ESET Security that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ESET Security with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
