Dropbox is comprised of the following executables which take 28.27 MB (29647800 bytes) on disk:

If you're planning to uninstall Dropbox you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\comtypes_cache\Dropbox-27

The files below are left behind on your disk by Dropbox's application uninstaller when you removed it:

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Dropbox.AutoplayEventHandler
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dropbox
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Dropbox

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{005A3A96-BAC4-4B0A-94EA-C0CE100EA736}\LocalServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{FB314ED9-A251-47B7-93E1-CDD82E34AF8B}\InProcServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{FB314EDA-A251-47B7-93E1-CDD82E34AF8B}\InProcServer32\

How to delete Dropbox from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Dropbox or simply click the Search field and type in "Dropbox". If it is installed on your PC the Dropbox application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Dropbox in the list , the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Dropbox, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Dropbox.
