After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

How to uninstall DriverUpdate from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DriverUpdate is a program marketed by SlimWare Utilities, Inc.. Some people want to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE approach to uninstall DriverUpdate is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find DriverUpdate or simply click the Search field and type in "DriverUpdate". If it exists on your system the DriverUpdate program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select DriverUpdate in the list , some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about DriverUpdate, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall DriverUpdate.


8. After removing DriverUpdate, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of DriverUpdate that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
